The Challenge
NxThera specializes in the design, manufacturing and selling of medical devices that ablate tissue in the endourological medical device market. To ramp up their sales staff, they needed a better way of tracking employees forecasts, sales, trainings, and summary reviews. The current system they were using required a lo of spreadsheets and emails, so there wasn’t a central location for reporting and data management.
The Solution
To assist NxThera in improving their current system, Redpath took the following steps:
- Instituted a Salesforce org that allowed for forecasting not only at a clinical level, but on an individual doctor level.
- Provided them with reports to show Sales rep activities with their clients, along with more accurate sales forecasting.
- Administered Case Summary and Meeting Summary tools for the reps to fill out and that were then scheduled to be emailed to the executive management.
- Initiated Admin and End User Training.
- Consolidated four sources of data such spreadsheets, emails, and cloud storage into Salesforce.
The Results
As a result of our partnership, NxThera was able to better track their data and obtained more efficient processes in the end. Here are some examples of these improvements:
- Eliminated the need for multiple reporting platforms.
- Created ability to forecast sales by accounts and products.
- Centralized location of data for ease of reporting and management and streamlined reporting process by automatically emailing of scheduled reports.
- Helped save both management and reps time by giving a central location for data to be entered and tracked.
