AI in Action: Simple Steps to Get Your Nonprofit Started with Salesforce

Something, if this didn't jump out at you that I think is an interesting frame But I don't know if it's often put on the agent on the assistive agent side is you saw in the demo, that was the one where I was asking Can you show me proposals that are relating to Africa. Okay, can you just show me just the funded ones? And the type of person that that's making me think of, it's not at all a replacement for reports, but You might know users in your org who maybe are reluctant Salesforce users or really dependent on admins to get what they want report wise or to answer questions that might have been report based in the past, right? And they're just never going to learn how to make a report. They're just not. It's just not going to happen, right? But what I was able to do there is talk to my agent as if it was my admin and say. Can you pull a report of… of proposals in Africa and show me their yes votes and just show me the funded ones. It's like a report request, right? But I didn't have to talk to my admin and my agent could just do it. And then whatever my job was that I need to do next, I can take action from there.

All right. We have another question. Have you seen any orgs use agents for data hygiene? Examples are merging duplicates, cleaning up addresses, or properly casing names, etc. Mm-hmm. I have not seen that yet. No, but it is something that we are often thinking about. I know Steph is always you are data dashboard is one of the things that we like to install in almost all of our organizations. It's something that we're always hyper aware of, so it's something that Yeah. We would love to look into a little bit more in terms of how that functionality will work.

Yeah, and your examples of data hygiene things are excellent examples. And I think, um. I think… Those particular examples, I think there are existing tools that do those very concrete things. What I imagine is that AI, we're going to be able to push beyond some of our existing how we think about data hygiene like Where it could be perhaps better than we've even imagined in the past, right? Because, uh, you know. There's some pretty, you can roll a pretty simple script that can do um you know case, proper case on names, right? I don't know if we need AI to figure that out. But I think there's Yeah. Use cases beyond the edge of where we've explored with data hygiene that it can help us think about. Think about like correcting, you know, helping our writing be better. I mean, that's what things we're using chat gpt for already right like can you help me make this a little more clear or whatever? And then doing that kind of thing

That's data hygiene like at a new level that we don't usually think about in our database but Yeah. I think, too, we talk a lot about here internally at RedPath, how like having good data hygiene is going really enhance your AI tools. But I also think like To that end, it could be, you know, it could help you identify some of those data hygiene Or areas that need to be cleaned up that you maybe did not notice. Like you pull a report and you're like, oh my gosh, that's not how I wanted my data to present. So I think it can provide opportunities to identify some of those Data cleanliness activities as well. This is a good question in the chat there. Yes. What is the security implications of this AI?

Yes, that's not something that we got into today. There's a lot of great information out there that we can pass along to you. The Einstein Trust layer essentially is this element that makes sure that There is zero data retention and that the models are not being trained And preserving the data that you are providing to it, the data that you are providing to it is being used within the system and that's about it. So there's a whole structure of data and security information out there to support and make you feel better about using this within your system. And I think we're happy to Provide you with some direction to look into that a little bit more. Yeah, Salesforce is huge on security. They really always have been. And this is no exception. So without, yeah, without spinning up another presentation right now about the Einstein trust layer, like James was saying. There is one.

There is something to trust for sure. All right, any other questions or anything anyone wanted to go over? I know it takes a second to type, so we have the awkward like 15 seconds of staring at each other. Okay. Here's just a concept that I'm excited about with my nonprofit clients who are using getting started with AI stuff is not everybody, but probably half of the folks that I work with Eventually, you know, eventually have or eventually will integrate wealth Wealth data into Salesforce. And so, you know, that's always an exciting, fun project just to, you know, integrate with Wealth Engine or iWave or whatever you all have probably at least looked at those. If you haven't done that yet, but they all have Salesforce integrations and you get that data into Salesforce and just like without even thinking about AI, then you're excited to

Run some new reports and charts and dashboards and stuff but thinking about having that data in Salesforce and then being able to leverage AI against that is Something I'm excited to do more with. Once you create a report using a prompt, can you save it or send it to someone? Are you recreating it every time you want to be the same data? Yeah, that's an excellent question. Dawn. I don't, I don't really, I don't know yet. It crossed my mind, but I didn't explore down that path. So far, my impression is it's not meant to really to replace what we use reports for really in any way. Maybe there is a way to capture that page and be like, check out these results. I'm not actually sure yet. I think how I'm viewing it at this point is it's more about like assisting this person down whatever like you're trying to accomplish today, right? And I needed this list and now I'm moving on and now I'm using it. That's how I'm thinking about it. I haven't seen

Super obviously that there's a way to be like, oh, save this for later. It's a good question, though. You do just need to learn how to build reports though. So. All right.
